Join Classy's Donor Covered Fees Open Beta

Donor Covered Fees is available in Classy Live in an open beta. If you're interested in participating in the beta, you can sign up to join.

Donor Covered Fees, also known as a fee on top, help nonprofits receive more of each donation by letting supporters increase their gift to cover the Classy transaction fee, payment processor fees, and any optional add-on rate.

The option to cover fees is always up to the supporter, but we've found that people often do so when given the choice.

In addition to helping offset the cost of fundraising, Donor Covered Fees ensure more of each donation goes towards your mission—something many supporters prefer. Based on early testing in Classy, more than 60% of donors decide to cover fees, and we're excited to see how giving the option to cover fees in Classy Live will help provide more transparency to event attendees and give more towards your mission.

  • After completing this signup form, the Classy team will review your account information and enable access to the feature on your account.

What is a beta program at Classy?

Beta programs are designed to test new or modified products, or features or functionalities of existing products, which are designated as beta, lighthouse, pilot, limited release, early access, developer preview, non-production, evaluation, or by a similar description (“Beta Products”). In Classy’s beta programs, one or more of these Beta Products are being made available to select customers prior to general availability release. While Classy extensively tests such Beta Products before release, the functionality of the features of such Beta Products may not be complete, and Beta Products could experience unknown bugs that may not be immediately addressed. Classy may discontinue Beta Products at any time in its sole discretion and may never make them generally available, and Beta Products remain in beta unless otherwise specified by Classy.
